Snail eggs?

My snails laid eggs and I don't want hundreds of little snails. The eggs are all over the gravel and ornaments(I boiled the ornaments to kill the eggs) But the gravel I don't want to take out and boil also I don't want to use any harsh chemicals considering the only stuff I could find at my local pet store Had A Snail is dangerous to catfish which I have so what can I do to get rid of the eggs?
