Beginner books for one aspiring to be a Stock Broker?

A "stock broker" is basically a salesman. Stock Brokers make a living by selling stocks to investors for a commission. Is that what you want to do? Or do you want to be a stock "trader"? Traders (whether stock traders, forex traders, commodity traders, etc.) make money by opening buy and sell positions in the market in a specific period of time - daytrade, short-term, mid-term and long-term.
