How can I get more iron into my diet?

I've been off and on vegetarian during the past year. I was veggie for 5 months and then I had to go back to eating meat because my mom didn't like it. About a month ago, I finally convinced my mom to let me go veggie again so I've been at it again for a month. For the past 2 weeks or so, I've been feeling very tired, and at sometimes, dizzy and light headed, and I suspect that I might be anemic. My mom told me today that I've begun to look very tired, pale, malnourished. The thing is, I eat a good diet, full of veggies, legumes, tofu, mushrooms, Morning Star products, etc. Every time I make a dish, I make sure it is chock full of good veggie protein (mushrooms, beans and tofu, mostly). When I was vegetarian before, I never had this problem and I didn't eat as healthy as I am now (My usual meal was a veggie burger and a piece of fruit). Also, I eat Total Raisin Bran for breakfast most days and I looked on the back and it said that one serving of it contains 100% of the daily value of iron that I need. How come this is happening and how can I get more iron and protein into my diet?
