Is it wrong that my mom put my Marine sticker on the car when I'm only a recruit and not a Marine yet?

I'm looking for veterans or Marines currently in the Marine Corps to answer this question because I would like to know your opinion whether or not its wrong. I got the sticker in a welcoming packet when i finished enlisting in the DEP, along with a sticker for parents that says " proud parent of a u.s. marine" and a info booklet...
