Women only: are there knights in shiny white armor to save damsels?

I agree with you that there aren't knights in shining armour to come along and "save" women anymore. It's usually the other way around. How many women put up with all of men's antics and fight to save their s everyday from getting into trouble? A LOT! However, both men and women can be protective of their families and yet don't have to blow things up or shoot people in order to do so. My father always kept guns in the house. If there was a noise in the middle of the night, he was the one to grab a gun and go investigate to make sure his family was safe. Both my parents taught myself and my sister right from wrong and who and what is dangerous in order that we could avoid injury as best as possible. If one of us were molested, both of my parents would have taken the appropriate action: calling the police and making sure that the was thrown in jail! If one of us was molested or attacked, my father going out and shooting the person responsible for it would have done no good, as the same with your father. Does having a father in jail help the situation? Does it make it all disappear? The answer is no. Does having a father by your side in a courtroom to hold your hand or to just be there to listen when you talk or to just hug you when you cry make a difference? Yes! The problem with the knights in shining armour is that what they do isn't legal. That's what makes those kinds of movies fun, it's because we get to see perverts and murderers get their s kicked and the one doing the kicking doesn't have to face any consequences for it.
