What religion were the people who flew planes into the WTC, Pentagon and the crash in Penna on Sept. 11, 2001?

I don't know. No one has proved beyond a shadow of doubt who did this. The common opinion is that is Muslims/Arabs but no Arabs were found on any of the penger manifests of any of the planes. Mohammed Atta was seen at the airport but was not pictured in line to get on the plane, nor were any remains or DNA found at the crash site, just his perfect, undamaged drivers license and his father has claimed to see him since. Then you have people who believe that all 4 planes were flown on auto pilot and that flight 93 was a hoax. There are also those who believe that flight 93 was shot down by a fighter jet. In view of the above, I don't think anyone can honestly say what religious background was held by those responsible for 9/11.
