My 4 yr old lab/pointer bit a woman twice?

I do realise that the woman could be nervous if she's been bitten before and it can't be very nice to have a dog charging at you. Thankfully I've never been bitten myself, but for some reason dogs seem to be very docile around me. At any rate my mum who lives nearby said that if I get the high fencing done she'll let her little springer down to play with him for a few hours every day, so they will both be completely safe!! They are good pals as it is. I don't have children myself but he seems to be very aware of kids and just stays away from them generally. He has never ever shown any aggression outside of his own home, doesn't even bark in the car. I would never get rid of a pet unless it was a no-choice situation. In a way, I'm glad of the warning now, as it's been a wake-up call. Thanks for your comments, apart from the last loser who still thinks I should put him to sleep. It's not a solution, and it fixes nothing. Duff will live on!! hopefully for another 10 yrs anyway...
