Does it bother you when people hold conversation with their pets?

okay i do talk to my dog but that is in the privacy of my own home and i live alone, the dog will not judge me :O) but when i am out in public, she is treated like a dog and i do not talk to her, i give her commands and call her ... i can not stand strangers who do what you have described, but i might be able to tolerate a bit more from a friend ... although still annoying ... i have a friend with two small dogs, they are housebroken 100% and they are adult dogs ... every time she takes them out she encourages them to do their business by saying "go be a clean boy" or "go be a clean girl" and she easily says it 20 times EVERY SINGLE TIME SHE TAKES THEM OUT ... i actually slapped my friend (in jest) and told her to shut up before i go crazy over her stupidity ... maybe your friend needs a slap too (in jest :O)
